What is a pimple?
A pimple is a red or white raised skin which may have pus. They appear when something stimulates the oil gland also known as the sebaceous gland. The dead skin and dirt on the surface of the skin and the oil from the sebaceous gland get accumulated to create a plugged pore and this is known as a pimple.
The most common culprit behind a pimple is the hormonal imbalance wherein the levels of testosterone are high. This mostly happens in puberty, teenage years, pregnancy, etc.

There is a wide range of home remedy options to treat pimples and some of them are:
- Apply juice of squeezed tomato over face and neck. Leave it to dry for about 10 to 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Do it daily for a week and see the difference for yourself.
